Percepce návratu divokých býložravců do krajiny ČR

The bachelor thesis deals with the return of the natural grazing with a help of wild herbivores, such as wild horses, aurochs and European bison into the landscape of the Czech Republic. Based on literary research, a positive influence on the natural grazing for increasing the diversity of species in the landscape has been identified. The thesis is focused on a pilot project in Milovice reserve in which the natural grazing is taking place since 2015. In the described project, an increase of the tourist potential and a spread of awareness of the region which is developing due to the territorial reserve project has been found. The following aim of the bachelor thesis is, based on the questionnaire, to evaluate, how the inhabitants of the Czech Republic perceive this project and its impact on the future. The target group, the inhabitants of the Central Bohemian Region, evaluate the project and its impacts positively. The inhabitants of other regions have not heard about this project and there are also some negative opinions. The aim of the thesis is to suggest additional tourist activities and to promote the project in the vicinity of the reserve.

Results of parasitological diagnosis and evaluation of drug administrations in population of wisents in the game enclosure Židlov II

Title of diploma thesis: Results of parasitological diagnosis and evaluation of drug administrations in population of wisents in the game enclosure Židlov II This diploma thesis continues on the thesis "Results of parasitological diagnosis and evaluation of drug administrations in population of wisents in the game enclosure Židlov I." This second part deals with the examination of parazitostatus of an acclimatization enclosure after the release of bisons into the game enclosure Židlov. Parazitostatus of the acclimatization enclosure was tested by biological study using sheep. A nine sheep herd was placed, on the vegetation season, into acclimatization object and spend there 7 months. For another 3 months (winter season) this herd was stabled in the breeding object, then 6 pieces were butchered and then undergoed parasitological autopsy. Samples of fresh droppings of these sheep were, across the whole period of biological studies, coprologically examined for the presence of trematode eggs. Findings were in all cases negative. Presented thesis deals with monitoring of parazitostatus in small bison (Bison bonasus) pop- ulation bred in game enclosure Židlov during the years 2011 - 2012, its evaluation, designing appro- priate anthelmintic administrations and assessing therapeutical effects. Several parasites were iden- tified with the use of ovoscopic and larvoscopic methods focused on trematodes, parasites of gastrointestinal tract and lungs; fluke, roundworm (Chabertia ovina, Ostertagia spp., Trichuris spp.) and tapeworm eggs (Moniezia spp.) were determined. Mr. M. Kašný (Institute of Parasitology, Fac- ulty of Science, Charles University in Prague) confirmed two species of flukes, Paramphistomum cervi and Fasciola hepatica. Historical existence of european bison in the Czech geographical region and its significance to the surrounding landscape

The subject of this diploma thesis is an analysis of the historical existence of European bison in the Czech geographical region and an evaluation of the significance of its presence to the surrounding landscape. The goal of the thesis is to depict bison population changes in the Czech territory over time and the meaning of efforts to reintroduce the bison into its natural habitat. An important part of the work then will be the preparation, realization and evaluation of two excursions during which students go for European bison directly into the field.

Knowledge of kindergarten pupils about animal anatomy.

This thesis is about wild animals living in the area Lusatian Mountains, Českolipsko, Dubskaand, Českosaské Švýcarsko, marginally in the Zoopark in Chomutov as a model group in environmental education in kindergarten. The aim is to find out the level of acquainting children with the selected endangered species, to compare how children perceive these animals, to find out how the children receive information about this topic. This research shows the range of available educational materials and auxiliary materials. On this basis there is developed a quality and comprehensive educational method connecting children closer to nature into this particular area. The aim is also from the perspective of contemporary and historic and legendary eliminate wide spread misconceptions and prejudices people against wild endangered animals and trying to clarify them.
